TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
FIXED TERM OF CONTARCT
1. SIGN UP AND PROFILE
1.1. The candidate is required to sign in and sign up to the ‘Agency’, ProCity Jobs website, i.e., procityjobs.com, with information that is current and truthful. Information that is found to be faulty or misleading will result in immediate termination of services rendered by ProCity Jobs.
1.2. Candidates are required to create a profile from which they are able to check updates of available jobs in real-time.
1.3. Jobs that will be suggested are those that were chosen by the candidate in the three part ‘Job title’ option and selection.
Candidates will be called for opportunities based on jobs that they have selected in this section.
2. INTERVIEWS
2.1. There is no set time or period in which candidates will be called to attend an interview. Signing up to the agency does not mean immediate employment; calls for interview will be made, once the position is requested for by the appropriate clients.
2.2. Candidates called for interview that are not able to attend, are required to make it know to the agency, ‘ProCity Jobs’ at least 6 hours before the interview time.
2.3. It is the onus of the candidate to inform the agency of the success of the interview, i.e. if they have received the job or not. If unsuccessful, there will be no additional charge to attend another interview.
2.4. Candidates will be required to go through a screening process; this is mandatory. This process will include a pre-interview that will be conducted via face-to-face, Skype, or Whatsapp video call.
3. GUARANTEE FOR JOBS
3.1 In accordance with clause 2.1 above, there is no guarantee for successful job placement by the agency; it is the onus of the candidate to pass the interview.
3.2 Calls for job opportunities will be done in reasonable time. Candidates are required to check in with the agency if such time has passed, for any available positions.
4. PAYMENT FOR REGISTRATION AND SERVICE
4.1. Candidates are required to pay a fee of $1500 for registration before the commencement of the registration process. Job search or calls for interview will not be done until this payment is settled.
4.2. Candidates will be required to pay 1/3 of their first salary upon receiving employment through our agency services.
5. REFEUND POLICY
5.1. No refund will be provided for an unsuccessful interview
5.2. Registration fee of $1500 subject to clause 4.1 is non-refundable. However, no additional fee is required if interview was unsuccessful.
5.3. Payment of 1/3 of first pay check in accordance to clause 4.2. is non-refundable after job has been obtained.
6. TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
6.1. Candidates contract will be terminated upon being called three (3) times for an interview and have declined without reasonable explanations.
6.2. Candidates contract is conditional upon:
4.2.1. the Agency obtaining suitable references for the employee, and
4.2.2. the candidate having the legal right to carry out employment within Jamaica without any further approval.
4.3. The candidate will be subjected to mandatory screening. Failure to do so without reasonable explanation will result in termination of contract
4.4. Subject to clause 1.1, contract will be immediately terminated if any information provided by candidate is found to be misleading, exaggerated or untruthful.
