TLC Construction is a commercial and residential construction company operated by Principals, Elroy Edwards, and Rosie Edwards. The company’s objective is to provide reliable, efficient, and cost-effective building solutions across Jamaica.
TLC Construction uses three main approaches to building construction – cast-in-place technique, tilt-wall technology and the traditional “block and steel” approach.

Elroy Edwards – Director of Construction
Elroy is an expert in various construction techniques with extensive experience in commercial construction in North America and Jamaica. He has over two decades experience in the use of tilt-wallconstruction technology, cast-in-place construction technology, and traditional block and steel approaches. Elroy is competent at reading, interpreting, and computing measurements related to all plans, drawings and diagrams related to building construction – commercial and residential.
Elroy has effectively led and supervisedlarge and small teams of both skilled and unskilled labourers including carpenters, masons, steel workers, welders, plumbers, and electricians. He is widely renowned for his attention to quality and adherence to prescribed quality local and international building standards and is uncompromising in his work and professional ethics.
Elroy began his career in construction in the United States where he worked as Site Supervisor at BlaizeConstruction Inc.from 1997 to 2002, Site Supervisor at Tako Floors from1996 to 1997, and as Site Supervisor at Tilt Wall Inc. - USA 1994 to1996. During this time, he worked on projects to buildHome Depot Stores (Various Locations), Eddy’s Ice Cream Factory - Miami, Fl., as well as various residential homes and complexes.
Elroy first came to Jamaica to supervise the construction of MegaMart Portmore. Since then he has been the lead expert, site supervisor and director of construction on numerous projects including MegaMart Montego Bay and Mandeville, Vista Print Building – Montego Bay, National Supply Jamaica, Joong’s Hardware & Home Centre – Portmore, and Island Farm Supplies Building – May Pen.
Rose Marie EdwardsBBA, MSc, HRBP– Director of Operations
Rosie became involved in building construction as a hobby and after years of providing administrative and operations support to Elroy, she started to manage her own residential projects under the leadership of her husband. After 32 years as a career banker, including 8 years as a corporate trainer Rosie decided to work full time in the field of construction.
Rosie’sextensive training and experience in banking and Human Resource Management, equips her to provide accounting, operations, personnel and administrative leadership and support at TLC Construction.
Rosie’s key strengths include organizational, communication and creative skills, which are essential to the residential building construction process. Rosie is results focused, intuitive, and collaborative and has built invaluable business relationships with some of the best architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, realtors, and building professionals in Jamaica. She has also been able to establish strategic relationships with various suppliers of services and materials locally and overseas.
